Lynn Coleman

Lynn founded Travel with TLC after years of traveling the globe. A native New Yorker, Lynn moved to Kansas City in 1988, after many years of moving around the country with her husband’s career. Once settled in Kansas City, she poured her energy into raising her three young children and getting involved in the local community.  With a background in art history and strong passion for the arts, she became a docent at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, where she dedicated nearly 10 years specializing in the permanent collections and visiting exhibitions. 

By the time her kids had finished elementary school, Lynn was ready for her next challenge.  Ultimately her strong passion for art and culture coupled with her excitement for seeing the world, lead her to pursue a career in travel.  After a brief stint at a local agency, Lynn, "a do it herself kind of girl", branched out to found Travel with TLC.

Travel has always been an important part of Lynn’s life, and her experiences traveling with her husband and family have provided a rich knowledge and expertise, which she brings to each client.

Emily Frankel

Emily joined Travel with TLC in 2016, after nearly ten years working in the Fashion Industry.  Prior to becoming an advisor, she worked as a designer in NYC where she developed seasonal collections for multiple brands.  After relocating to Philadelphia, Emily decided to join pursue another passion of hers – travel!

Emily caught the travel bug at a young age, with family vacations all over the world.  Studying design in London and Paris only enhanced Emily’s excitement for travel and exploration,

Emily bring creativity and enthusiasm to each trip she plans.

Megan Sykes

Megan joined her mother and sister, completing the Travel with TLC team in 2021. Her love of travel started early thanks to family vacations to many far-off places. With a natural curiosity about the world, she spent extended time living abroad in Spain both as a teenager and young adult. It was through those adventures that she learned the value of travel and has been committed to learning about new places, cultures, food and languages ever since.

With a background in broadcast journalism, Megan brings a unique skill set to Travel with TLC. She has spent nearly 20 years fostering relationships within her community, understanding the importance of those connections.

A mother of three, Megan knows the challenges of traveling with kids and the excitement of sharing the world with them. With years of travel experience and a keen understanding of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to family travel, she looks forward to bringing her firsthand knowledge to each client.
